We were hired to feed the 2017 New England Patriots and 1700 of their closest friends when they got into town this year!
Superbowl Catering isn’t for the faint of heart. It was a last minute deal, of course, but we pulled it through like the champs we are!
We had a number of challenges, not the least of which was a very short time frame of 8 days to get everything planned, ordered, cooked and staffed. Most events of this size have a few months advance warning to get things together! Other challenges were the diets of the athletes, and the kosher-style requirements of the team owners. Our liaison with the team was fantastic and helped facilitate our needs during the short time frame.
BIG TIP:If you know EXACTLY what you want, things go much easier. And she did!
We worked with the outstanding and professional staff at Stampede Houston (who actually brought the event to us) to create the ultimate event flow starting with cocktails and appetizers the moment they got off the busses and numerous food stations to make sure the food was plentiful and the lines were short. (If you need a great venue for the Total Texas Experience, you should check them out at www.stampedeeventcenter.com)
Our kitchen staff worked over 100 hours in prepping for the event, then moved everything to Stampede to finish it in one of 2 kitchens put up onsite to make sure we had the freshest food possible for our esteemed guests. We cranked out 9 menus for 15 food stations and got everyone fed in less than 2 hours!
Our service staff was friendly and fun and got lots of compliments for taking the event to the “next level.”
We were told it was one of the best Superbowl Catering events they have ever had and the food was over the top!
When you bring our incredible food and service together with and amazing venue like Stampede, you kinda can’t go wrong!
All we are saying is that we fed the Patriots and they won.
We aren’t saying that it was because of our amazing food and service that they won, but you cannot say that it wasn’t either. Any way you look at it, we fueled the winners of the 2017 Superbowl.
